AnchorPad is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how the Extension handles your data.

Data Collection

The Extension does NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data with external servers.

What Data is Processed Locally

The Extension processes the following data locally on your device only:

• Note content and tasks you create
• Page URLs and Titles (to bind notes to specific contexts)
• Timestamps for note creation and updates
• User settings and preferences (e.g., auto-show notes)

How Data is Stored

All data is stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage API:

• Data never leaves your computer
• Data is not synchronized across devices unless you enable Chrome Sync
• Data is deleted when you uninstall the extension

Permissions

The Extension requests the following permissions:

• storage: Store your notes, tasks, and settings locally
• host_permissions (<all_urls>): Inject the floating note interface onto webpages you visit
• contextMenus: Allow quick actions via the right-click menu
• activeTab: specific interaction with the current tab

Content Scripts

The Extension injects content scripts on pages you visit to render the floating note interface. Content scripts do NOT read page content (other than URL and Title for context), track browsing history, or collect personal information.

Data Sharing

The Extension does NOT share data with anyone.

• No data is sent to external servers
• No analytics or tracking
• No third-party services
• No ads or monetization

Data Security

• All data is stored locally on your device
• No transmission of data over the internet
• No backend servers or databases
• No cloud storage

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Access: You can view all stored data through the Extension UI
• Delete: You can delete individual notes within the extension or uninstall the Extension to delete all data
• Control: You have full control over your data at all times

How to Delete Your Data

1. Delete individual notes or tasks using the delete icons within the Extension
2. Uninstall the Extension to delete all stored data from your browser

Third-Party Services

The Extension does NOT use any third-party services, analytics, crash reporting, advertising networks, or social media integration.

Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age.
